Rooted in Nepal.
Made for You.
Tipsy Yeti began as the dream of a young chef who carried his home with him — not in luggage, but in flavor. In Kathmandu, food isn’t just cooked. It’s lived. It’s the steam rising from momo baskets at dusk, the fire of choila tossed in mustard oil, the smell of fresh timur cracking open the air, and the laughter of families who gather around the table like it’s a celebration every night.
Those memories traveled across continents and landed here in California, where a small, family‑owned restaurant decided to do something bold: honor Nepali tradition while letting it evolve.
The heart of our kitchen is the chef’s grandfather’s 19‑spice Super Masala, a legendary blend passed down through generations. It’s fiery, fragrant, and unmistakably Nepali — the kind of masala that makes you pause mid‑bite because it tastes like nothing else.
That masala is the soul of our food. The warmth of our hospitality is the soul of our space.
We’re here to share the flavors of our families and communities back home — the comfort, the chaos, the spice, the joy — with the people we’ve come to love here.
Tipsy Yeti isn’t traditional. It isn’t fusion. It’s progressive Nepali cuisine — a living, breathing expression of heritage that grows with every dish we create.
We take the classics — momo, choila, rice bowls, bar snacks — and give them intention, creativity, and California freshness. We pair Nepali heat with curated craft cocktails. We plate with artistry but cook with soul. We keep the flavors honest, bold, and deeply comforting.
At Tipsy Yeti, you’re not just a guest — you’re part of the story. We greet you like family, feed you like family, and celebrate with you like family. Our team brings the same warmth you’d find in a Kathmandu kitchen, where strangers become friends and meals become memories.
